  MEXICAN MAYAN AMBER - SAMPLES

DESCRIPTION : : A medium sized piece - 5cm in length. This is a very rare find. It includes three mosquito's. According to Andrew Ross "contrary to popular belief mosquitoes are extremely rare in amber. There is only one recorded case in Canadian amber, but this requires confirmation. There are only a handful known in Baltic amber and a few tens of specimen in Dominican amber."

I am pleased now that I bought this piece with the mosquitoes in.
